A brooch created in the spirit of the ‘ready-made’ (Duchamp, Man Ray): industrial production scraps given a new lease of life.
The metal parts, originally turning scraps, are embellished by the concentric rings produced by deburring machines. The application of coloured leaf enhances the textural quality of the surface.
