Brooch sculpture in iron, realized according to the philosophy of “ready made” (Duchamp, Man Ray) waste of industrial production that acquires new life.
The shape is inspired by Niké of Samothrace, the winged statue in the Louvre.
In a previous life, the wires were the galvanized iron cables that formed the rows of screws, beaten with a hot hammer.
The other metal parts are iron turning scraps, embellished by the concentric rings produced by the deburring machines and the applied gold leaf.
