New brooches ‘Sculpture’ by Gianni Pignat

Although temperatures are still summery at the start of September, we’re already thinking about which of these beautiful brooches we might wear when the weather turns cooler. They are all one-off pieces and have now become Helix classics – much to my delight! They are crafted in line with the ‘ready-made’ philosophy (Duchamp, Man Ray), giving new life to industrial production scraps. The metal parts, originally turning scraps, are embellished by the concentric rings produced by the deburring machines. The application of coloured leaf enhances the textural quality of the surface. They are all one-of-a-kind pieces, perfect for collectors!
